The South American Language Center has over 18 years of experience on the Spanish teaching field, with customers from all over the world. Supported by the Education and Culture Ministry of Ecuador, it is also members of the Ecuadorian Association of Spanish Schools.

The school is located in the heart of Quito, near the touristic, commercial, geographic sites. The facilities are large and modern, and include a garden, a cafeteria and comfortable classrooms.

After more than 18 years devoted to teaching Spanish, the school has developed several programs of individual Spanish as a second language instruction with excellent results. After a few months of intensive instruction, the student will be amazed at the level achieved. Usually other study methods require several months to obtain similar results.

All of the teachers have university degrees, special training in Spanish as a second language and five or more years of experience.

The South American Language Center has two Spanish programs are designed to cover 12 levels, which allow you to acquire the Spanish structure.

The school offers you other special activities, where you can practice your Spanish and know more about Ecuadorian culture.

Every week we organize some group activities for the students and teachers, such as: speeches, debates, didactic games, etc.

You're going to receive one-to-one classes all the Spanish classes are private classes. Your teacher is going to apply the system in order to meet / suit your personal needs and requirements.

The method is direct and communicative. Every teacher teaches you to speak and write Spanish using audio and visual resources and not only by translation.

Through readings, comprehension questions, vocabulary, group conversational forums, grammar, exercises, and permanent correction, your teacher will always be ready to help you with all your specific learning needs.

You can practice Spanish that you have learned by living with an Ecuadorian family. This is a different experience that lets you practice the daily language in a real cultural context, while you share activities with the family.

The families are middle class. Most are professionals. Their houses are in safe and pleasant neighbor hoods near the institute.

In your accommodation, you will have a nice and comfortable room with private bathroom, laundry, service once a week.
