Estudio Sampere is situated in a detached building overlooking the Barranco River in the city centre. The school has seven classrooms, a small garden, common room, library and video room.

Estudio Sampere has adapted the new course "esespañol", from Espasa, into four books: CICLO I, II, III and IV. They are a solid foundation for further language learning through conversation, audio visual and real life material.

All Estudio Sampere teachers hold a college degree or diploma. Teachers are also chosen for their enthusiasm, their commitment to the students and their team spirit.

Family is important at Estudio Sampere, and many of the teachers have been with the school for years. At each Estudio Sampere school, the director organizes the groups and supervises your individual progress.

Courses

Intensive: Year-round the school offers an Intensive Spanish Course from 2 to 24 weeks in Cuenca, Ecuador. This course is available to participants of all proficiency levels.

Intensive Plus: The course is designed for those who need to make quick progress in a relatively short time. It covers the four basic language skills: oral comprehension and expression, written comprehension and expression, with a particular emphasis on oral comprehension and expression.

One-to-One Spanish Lessons: This course is aimed at professionals, teachers or university students who wish to improve their linguistic knowledge in as short time as possible or who wish to reach a survival level in a few days. The course is offered at all levels, from beginner to expert or pre-bilingual, and it is based on the participant’s skills and his/her professional or social needs. Your own material can be incorporated into the course.

Special Programme: During the years Estudio Sampere, Cuenca, has developed activities in the arts and crafts field with success. Cuenca is a city with an important tradition in both traditional crafts and contemporary arts and the Arts & Crafts program is based in this fact. Students enroled in this special 10 lessons per week program will receive hands-on training in traditionat crafts such as weaving, hand crafted and wheel turned pottery and basketry.

Participants of both short and long-term courses will receive a detailed certificate at the end stating information on level and length of the respective course.
