Due to the location near the Andes, the area is rich in tropical humid forests, one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world with a high number of endemic species in flora and fauna. The comfortable Amazon Lodge overlooks the amazing Napo River with its small islets of stones and sandy shores.

Cotococha Amazon lodge offers 17 beautiful and spacious bungalows, divided into 1 single, 3 triples and 13 doubles, built according to traditional architecture in harmony with the surrounding rainforest.

Every bungalow at Cotococha is equipped with a private bathroom with hot and cold-water shower, a private veranda with reclining chairs or hammocks to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Ecuador’s Amazon. Electricity is not provided at the bungalows, but Cotococha Amazon Lode has oil lamps along the paths and at the bungalows, which illuminates the property creating a very romantic atmosphere.

In Cotococha Amazon Lodge restaurant, the chef prepares three sets of menus daily, using fresh local ingredients. A perfect balance between Ecuadorian traditional dishes as well as international gastronomy enables you to taste the best of our cuisine and specialities. Vegetarian or other dietary meals are provided. The restaurant seats up to 35 persons and is a semi open-air restaurant.
