But I'd like input from those who've been there. Thanks much for any input! I'd recommend hotel La Colina, comfortable rooms, a pretty garden, very friendly service, an excellent restaurant (organic) and very safe. Guaranda is in general safe compared to other places (esp. big cities) in SA. Just be careful of pickpockets and take the usual precautions. I felt very safe there. It is a fairly little town, but in a way it´s touristy.
