Hacienda Cusin is a restored 17th-century estate 15 minutes drive south of Otavalo. It offers individually decorated guestrooms, suites, garden cottages and family courtyards. Nearby, the often snow-capped 15,000-foot Cotacachi volcano is reflected in Lago San Pablo.

The hacienda has 44 individually decorated guest rooms, all with private bathrooms, fireplaces, beamed ceilings and garden or mountain views. Some are in the old building, some in garden cottages or family courtyards while others are in a newer ‘Monastery’ building with separate dining and bar facilities.
The hacienda has terracotta tile roofs, winding cobbled pathways, fountain courtyards and extensive gardens filled with belladonna, bougainvillea, agapanthas, acanthas, foxgloves, orchids, palms and over 50 species of birds.
The Hacienda Cusin has variety of activities are available, including squash, basketball and volleyball, as well as expeditions in the surrounding area on horseback or mountain bike.
