| I will be winding-up a 2-week trip in Guayaquil in early October and am wondering whether it is worth going to Cuenca for a couple of days. It would involve rearranging my air transportation, since I am already booked to fly home from Guayaquil, but I guess I could make the change. I've read a little about Cuenca but am not sure about going. Does anyone have any thoughts? |

Hi Johnk,
Cuenca is a very beautiful colonial city in the Andes. It is definitely worth a few days if you can fit it into your schedule. Flights between Cuenca and Guayaquil are not very expensive. If you are on a budget there is frequent bus transportation between the two cities (not very comfortable and make sure to travel during the day.) Have a good trip. |
