The M/N Tropic Sun, originally built as a research vessel, has been converted to a small passenger ship in 1994, with adventure travelers, and vacationers in mind.
The Vessel carries all required safety equipment, life rafts, automatic emergency alarms, satellite emergency beacon and 9 lifer rafts, 120 life vests, 3 motor boats.
The M/N Tropic Sun has 18 cabins with twin beds that will configure to king and 4 cabins with 2-4 twin beds. With triple or quad occupancy, 48 passengers can be accommodated. All cabins have private ensuite facilities and showers, are fully air-conditioned, and have either portholes or large picture windows.
There is a salon with a TV and VCR, an outside Tiki bar and dining area, whirlpool, and a 2000 sq. ft. sundeck on which to soak up the rays.
