Sagitta was built in Sweden in 1961 and totally refurbished in 1999, sailing the Galapagos aboard this motor sailor is a perfect choice for a relaxed cruise in the islands, with a chance to get close to the wildlife on land and at sea. The Sagitta is a beautiful and spacious first class, three masted, 120 feet tall and 124 feet long sailing ship.
The Sagitta continues to reflect the owners priorites of excellence: superb accommodations, yacht maintenance and safety equipment that meet the highest standards.
Sagitta carries 16 passengers on two decks with a crew of nine. There are ten air conditioned cabins, each with double lower and single upper berths. Each cabin has an "en suite" bath and hot shower.
The Sagitta facilities on board include a library/video lecture room, an ample upper-deck salon/bar, a shaded al-fresco dining area aft and a spacious upper deck for lounging, watching sea birds and dolphins off the bowsprit.
The Sagitta has ample open and shaded deck space, delicious Ecuadorian and international cuisine is served in the saloon or on deck, and their is personal service on board from her superbly trained crew and guide.
