Built in 1990, with an overall length of 89.35 m and reaching 17 knots, the Galapagos Explorer II is one of the newest and most elegant of the vessels cruising the Galapagos' waters. Designed to provide both comfort and scientific information to 100 passengers visiting the Galapagos National Park, this vessel travels up to the remotest islands of the Archipelago.
Galapagos Explorer II is an all suite ship, all her spacious 52 air-conditioned cabins have a sitting area in addition to a sleeping area and features amenities such as in-cabin safety deposit box, mini-refrigerator, TV with VCR, personal hair dryer and telephone with intentional communications abilities.
Features aboard include jacuzzi, solarium, spacious dining room, an electronic elevator, large conference room, lounge, three bar areas with music, boutique and reading room
Six naturalist guides aboard lead daily shore excursions and offer nightly briefings to prepare passengers for the islands to be visited the next day.
