Wouldn't it be great to visit this unique wildlife area. Does anyone have an idea of what it costs, what to bring, etc.
I love nature and think it would be the experience of a lifetime to see these creatures in person. Can an ordinary person really afford the trip?

Of course, the Galapagos Islands are protected and only recently have tourists been allowed on the islands. When visiting this unusual habitat, visitors must be extra careful not to disturb the environment in any way.
Small cruise ships carrying 16 to 100 passengers sail these waters in modern luxury. Prices start at about $1,000 per person, double occupancy for a 3-day cruise to about $2,200 for a 7-day cruise. |
