Anyone knows a hostel or so where you can work and get spanish lessons for free in ecuador? i am looking for a place where i can learn the language without paying a big amount of money. (simply can't afford it so i am willing to work). Another question: How save is Ecador for women?

I know a great hostel in Quito........The Secret Garden. I knew many people who were working there and getting lessons and accommodation. Ask for Tarqin the owner ( he's an Aussi ).

Also Quito has many other great hostels and great night life etc.

Ecuador is very safe apart from the normal scams etc.
