My mother will be traveling to Guayaquil soon on personal business. She is nervous about traveling alone, if I can't accompany her, I want to find a nice safe hotel in the downtown area of Guayaquil. Also, do they usually provide airport pickup service. I heard it could be crazy there.

The Hotel Oro Verde is located in downtown Guayaquil. It is a very nice hotel and in a safe area. They do have airport transportation. Your mother would be very comfortable staying there. I suggest you go on their website and email the manager if you have anymore specific questions.
