Has anyone recently stayed at the Secret Garden or La Casa Sol in Quito? We're looking for a comfortable place we can use as our base as we travel about Ecuador. Any other suggestions would be welcomed!

Hi,

I own a hostal in Colombia and have just returned from Ecuador and am happy to say that the Secret Garden is one of the most organised hostals I have ever stayed in. Fantastic views from the rooftop bar/restaurant.... also great in the newer part of the city is CROSSROADS... huge hostal with not so many people and in a great location.. You could not go wrong with either
