We couldn't believe our eyes when we landed in Guayaquil, it had been almost 15 years since I was there for the last time, and the changes were so Amazing, Congratulations to the people who made that possible, everything had been rebuild is like a whole new town that just came out of the blue, the scenery, the beatiful waterfront, that called my attention so much, and the good roads that i drove around really impressed me because i didn't expect any of that at all, this town had a lot to offer. Visitors can simply take the plane to and from the Galapagos Islands, and home to anywhere in the US and Europe because they have a nice international airport and I heard they are building a whole new international buliding facility to be open on July 2006, which is gonna be the biggest of the Ecuadorean airport transportation.

My recomendation Go for it, no doubts you will even wanna go back or spend more days down there after all is only 3hours and half flying out of Miami.

Thanks for your opinion, it was really helpful to our group. We are seniors from Morristown, Virginia and as soon as we read your opinion about this town on the Ecuadorean coast, we asked our travel agent if they could include "Guayaquil" in our agenda, and there we were walking around on all those remarkable places like you suggested in Guayaquil's report, we went to the waterfront and all those beautiful scenery, thank you once again we will recommend this place to anybody. It was the nicest place on our tour in South america as well as Quito, anybody could go for it, no doubts about it.
