My boyfriend and I are considering spending a few days at the end of December at the Luna Runtun Adventure Spa. I have been searching for reviews from others who have stayed here, but have been unsuccessful.

I have not been to Luna Runtun since they added the spa, but I did spend some time there twice in the last few years. The owners are Olivier Currat and his lovely wife, Carmen. He is Swiss, with a hotel background. She is Ecuadorian. They run a first-class property, high above the city of Baños. It is definitely a wonderful place for a 'retreat' and also there is a lot to do. The city of Baños has a small town feel. Many European visitors. The food is wonderful, as is the service (or it was when I was there).
