| I'll be in Guayaquill, Equador in December. I arrive around 1:30pm and don't depart out until the next day around 3:40pm. What can I safely see and do in that time? |

I suggest you head toward the Malecon area. It'd be an easy walk between the Malecon (a very nice & safe area with strip mall & boardwalk along the water) to the Las Penas area. You can also ask how to go the few blocks to the artisans market to buy some gifts you could bring home.
You could spend an entire afternoon or more along the water checking these places out.
I last went to Guayaquil in August. My Ecuadorian friend & I went to the malecon area during the day and late at night and it seemed safe at all times. |
