| hi everyone. does anyone know the name and e-mail address of a decent and somewhat inexpensive (am desperate at this point and willing to pay up to $30, though i strongly strongly prefer paying $5-$15) hostel in otavalo? i've writtten to the 4 e-mail addresses i could find, and two haven't responded and two e-mails got sent back to me. i'd appreciate any suggestions you have - it's supposedly a busy time and i'm not going to be in ecuador until late thursday night, so it's too hard to call any of them. thanks so much!! |

Hi
We left Otavalo yesterday where I can recommend Hostal Samana on Av. Roca, it's new with private bath, hot water and the prices are fair! 8 US for a single and 14 US for a double room. It is one block from the bus terminal and 2 blocks from the market square in the centre of Otavalo.
We didn't reserve and arrived last Friday on the evening of the opening of the festival... |
