Guayaquil just opened a brand new airport, outstanding services like the US airport, It was very easy to made all the conections, to and from the Galapagos Islands and Quito as well.

We loved Guayaquil and the surroundings, the Pier 2000 or "Malecon 2000" very nice go there is an enjoyable walkway around Guayaquil's downtown.
Take the pirate's ship straight to the Old historic Park accross the river beautiful.

Thanks for the advice we happen to be in Guayaquil right now and we will follow the advice, so far we took 3 tours including the beach of Salinas, excellent.

Yessssss, the airport is very nice, looks like the one we have at home, good confort and serivices available, we will depart back to Cleveland using this modern airport.
