I’m going to be going to Guayaquil for four days and am looking to stay in a hostal close to the bus terminal and the Peruvian consulate. I have no idea where either of them are, but could someone recommend some safe hostals that aren’t too expensive and are close to both of these?
Also how much are hostals for a night? What about food?
Thanks |

Hi,
There's 2 ok hostels, one is called dreamkapture it's about $14 a night, decent location, other one is iguanazu (website is iguanazu.com) i think and it's $12 a night with pool and breakfast. ive been to both and stay at the iguanazu cause its the best i think. both are reasonably close to the bus stop but you'll need a cab when you arrive ($4)
good luck |

Hi,
Well , I went to Guayaquil 3 years ago. I stayed at Hotel Ecuador, the price was USD 7.00 single room, It is near of the Plaza centenario.
Frm here you can take a taxi to Terminal de Bus for USD 4.00 or USD 3.00 I don´t remember.
About the food I recommend you Pollo a la brasa with Patacones (platanos) It was USD 2.00 I think so. With The Breakfeast try go to Supermarket (called Comisariato) and buy some bread and juice, milk It´s cheaper.
Visit Malecon 2000,barrio las peñas.
The Peruavian Consulate is on Av. Francisco de Orellana Kennedy Norte, Piso 14 Oficina Nº 02 Edificio "Centrum" Guayaquil.
Good Luck! |
