Could anyone give me some advice for a trip I'm planning with my family(2 ad +3 kids) on the following topics:
1. Is the M/V Legend suitable for kids?
2. After a 4 night cruise is it worthwhile to stay one night in land? If yes Royal Palm or Finch Bay?
3. In Quito, the Dann Carlton Hotel is a good choice or is there a better option? Location is OK?
Thanks |

| My family (2 adults and 2 kids ages 13 and 10) stayed at Finch Bay for a week and it was wonderful. Very kid-friendly and a first class hotel and retaurant. I don't know anything about the Royal Palm other than what they show on their website but it sounds nice too. I'm not sure if you want to just jump right onto another boat for a day trip after your cruise. But at Finch Bay you can also relax by the pool, swim in the bay, take a walk around Puerto Ayora and Charles Darwin research Station, hike to Bahia Tortuga, take a mountain bike ride or go sea kayaking. The hardest thing will be to decide what you want to do with just one day. |
