I'm looking to fly from Guatemala City to Quito and am wondering if i should buy my plane ticket now or wait till I am in Guatemala. I have looked at Exito travel and they quoted me $425. it seems steep. Also, is there anyone else that you could recommend looking to buy through?

I leave for Guatemala in a week and will try to fly from there to Ecuador on Nov. 29th.

Keep checking TACA and COPA Airlines websites for specials. With some luck you could find return fares for USD250. Also check for fares from San Salvador, if they're much cheaper, the 4+ hour trip from Guatemala City to San Salvador Airport could be worth it.
