Hi All,

My girlfriend and I are looking into Ecuador and Galapagos. Flights from Toronto seem to be 800 USD flying through Miami. Does this sound reasonable? Also, I hear flying is the only option to get to Galapagos. How do I find/book these?

I agree that booking the flights yourself can be an ordeal. I've done it. All three Ecuadoran domestic airlines -- TAME, Icaro and AeroGal -- make the trip. Expect to pay $350-400 round trip from the mainland, depending on time of year. That's in addition to the $100 per person entry fee you pay upon arrival to enter the Galapagos.
