Hi
Prior to starting an overland tour of Ecuador, Peru & Bolivia i want to spend a couple of weeks doing some beach chilling, sunbathing, R&R in ecuador. I'm planning on doing this from mid-November to early December and wondered firstly is the weather even going to be any good on the coast then?
also - does anyone have any advice on good coastal areas to visit? Looking for nice beaches, swimming etc, and maybe a bit going on - i'm going to be travelling alone so hoping to meet people on the way,
Any advice on this woud be great.
Thanks all |

Hey there,
I spent time in Montanita. It was beautiful, clean places to swim, and the people were friendly and easygoing. I also happened to be there for a full moon party. You should try to check this out if you can, or find anything happening there. There is a place close to Montanita called the poor mans Gallapagos and you can see many different types of birds and wale watching tours as well. It is a tranquilo town with good hostals, and one internet place.
I stayed at la Prometida Tierra( or somehting like that) and it was a great hostal, with discounted food for guests, pretty tasty too.
Enjoy la playa, |
