Conditions in November/December (weather, ice situation etc.)? How to rent a tour guide and price? Rent of climbing gear - where and price? What about accommodation in the Cotopaxi area? Other tips about Ecuador are welcome too! They will provide gear and transportation. Cotopaxi is in a national park. I am not aware of nearby lodging, although there must be some. Ecuador is very easy to get around, with a good bus system, taxis, and pickup truck taxis, the best way to travel on dirt roads.
