Hi there We will be leaving Cuenca on Sept 11 to get to Lima by bus for the 12th. (long ride i know!!) My question is which is the best way to do this Cuenca-Guayaquil(4 hr bus)-Lima (24 hr bus) or Cuenca to Machala (4 hrs) - Machala (1.5 hr) - Huaquillas- Tumbles- Lima (18-20 hrs) or am I missing a wonderful option (does not include flying (- cheers Back to top Zeeman Joined: 28 Aug 2006 Posts: 1 Digg It Posted: Mon Aug 28, 2006 12:27 pm    Post subject: I have just come to Peru from Cuenca. There are loads of buses Cuenca-Loja (5hr) Transportes Loja International do Loja-Piura at 7am, 1pm and 10.30 pm (8hr). By the way, there is cash machine by one of the entrances to the bus station in Loja, which we completely missed til we spent half an hour finding another one!
