I can't answer your question, but a good source in Cuenca to contact is the Abraham Lincoln Center. I took Spanish lessons there, but it's primary mission is to teach English to local children so it won't be suitable for your daughter.
They should, however, be able to help you with the information that you need. The director is Richard Boroto. The administrator is Alicia. I believe Alicia has children who are school age. If you call, Alicia will probably be the person who will probably be the most helpful. Their phone number is 282-3898.
There are a couple of websites for the Abraham Lincoln Center, but they aren't updated or maintained. Corresponding with them through e-mail is a little iffy so I recommend that you call. However, don't call between noon and 2:00 pm since they're closed for lunch. |
