We will be in Ecuador at the end of May. Has anyone travelled along the Rio Napo to Iquitos without going on an expensive tour? Apparently there are cargo boats that run down the river but I cannot seem to find much information about these. Does anyone know if these run weekly, monthly etc? Any details, experiences or contacts would be most appreciated.
