| My boyfriend and I are leaving on Tuesday for Ecuador, the first 8 days are in the Galapagos and then we have 4 days to tour before heading home to Colorado. We were thinking of taking the Devils Nose Train and doing some hiking in Banos and by Riobamba if possible. Can we rely on the local bus system or do we need to hire a guide? We heard renting a car was a bad idea. Do we have enough time to go to both places in 4 days? |

| Devil's Nose Train seems like a good idea, but I'd sit inside if I were you! Remember it is very narrow gauge and looked a bit creaky to us. |
