I am traveling with a group of high school students and we want to go to the beach sometime in october. Can anyone recommend a beach and a hotel for 2 nights? Someplace reasonably priced.

The best beaches in Ecuador are of Manabi especially if you look for relaxed places. Crucita is located about 50 minutes from Portoviejo. There are some cliffs in the south of town, where you can go hang-gliding or Crucita is considered one of this best locations for the sport.

Yeaap! That is the place allright ...plus you will eat very good food and can relax morning or night, take advantage of the fresh fish .....they will catch for you in the early morning it is a place to remember. Good trip to all of you!
