and Tours and Volunteer/Internships opportunities.
APF financially supports some volunteers and collaborates with non-profit organizations to find ways to assist volunteers realize their desire to help others.
The APF programs permit students to learn Spanish regardless of their language level. Both beginners and advanced will profit immensely the specially designed APF system. New courses start every week of the year without interruption. At the end of each course students receive an international diploma as evidence of their successful studies.
Seventy percent of the teachers have post-graduate or doctorate degrees and all of staff are experienced in teaching Spanish and using the APF method.
APF's events coordinator can arrange just about anything you can imagine. Tour museums and ancient churches in the famous colonial downtown section of Quito or visit the Mindo ecological reserve (distinguished worldwide for its incredible number of bird species), Pasochoa mountain, Inca archeological sites or artisan towns like Otavalo.
Special Programs
Spanish Immersion: This 6/7-hour-per-day intensive program has two sessions daily, one during the morning ( 4 hours ) and one in the afternoon ( 2/3 hours ). In the mornings the classes will be conducted in the school, and in the afternoons they will be outside of the classroom.
Survival Spanish: This is a exclusive program offered by APF for students who are interested in learning the basics of Spanish for traveling purposes. This course is designed for travelers and for people who want to begin studying the language.
Spanish & Adventure: The Spanish & Adventure Program is a perfect way to discover this highly diverse South American country while experiencing the hospitality of the nation's people. The Ecuador has many opportunities to practice extreme sports and to learn Spanish.
Spanish & Tours: The program consists of taking one-on-one Spanish classes from Tuesday to Friday, 4 hours per day, and excursions every weekend. Monday is free. Every week you will get the chance to visit a different city that is steeped in its own unique experiences, customs, and traditions. Some of the places you will get to visit include: Quito, Cuenca, Baños, Manta, and Otavalo.
Spanish & Volunteers: This program is designed for people who would like to waste no time in Ecuador. People who opt to enroll in this program would be studying Spanish and volunteering at the same time.
We are in need of volunteers for a variety of programs that work with the elderly, with children, and with community outreach programs throughout Quito.
