We want to visit Amazon rainforest in Ecuador.
We prefer a site which is less spoiled or damaged by tourism. We would
like to see the original and primitive side of rainforests.
However, Our budget is not that much.
Please recommend the better site for us. Many, many thanks for your
generous help.

A great place to go is Kapawi. You have to take a plane from Quito, Ecuador to the jungle and then take a small boat into the lodge. This is a venture between the Shuar and an ecoturism company in Ecuador.
Enjoy your adventure! |

For "original" I may suggest where I went several years ago. It certainly was clearly "original" and essentially untouched then. I hope it is still as wonderful.
Ecological Reserve Cofan
This is the eastern slope of the Andes in Ecuador. It is not expensive once you get there, but getting there is somewhat "fun" and not necessarily cheap, though cheap is possible if you like bus rides over the Andes. It's not difficult, however.
I was truly impressed by the quality of the jungle I saw there, clearly the best I have seen, and this includes el Coca and Napo. They have jaguars, which you may actually see.
Have a great trip |
